Good value for a Power Rack

I was looking for a decent power rack without spending a fortune. The Major Fitness Power Rack was on sale, and I got a pretty good discount. It arrived in about a week, and setting it up was straightforward. For the price I paid, it feels sturdy and does exactly what I need. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth.

Smith Machine with Pulley System experience

I ordered the Smith Machine with Pulley System. The ordering process online was smooth, and I received an email confirmation right away. Shipping took about 8 days to reach my home in Texas, which was within the estimated timeframe. Packaging was robust, everything arrived intact. Assembly instructions were clear, though it took me a few hours to put it all together. The quality of the steel seems good, and the pulleys operate smoothly. I had a question about one of the cable attachments, and customer support replied to my email within 24 hours with a helpful answer. So far, no issues with its functionality.

All-in-one Home Gym is pretty good

I finally pulled the trigger on the All-in-one Home Gym. It was a big purchase for me, so I did a lot of research. It showed up in a few large boxes, took maybe a week and a half to get here after ordering. Putting it together was a project, not gonna lie, but the instructions were clear enough. The machine itself is pretty solid. It's not top-tier commercial gym stuff, but for a home gym, it's more than enough. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and it feels good. No weird noises or anything. Just wish the leg press attachment came standard, but I knew it didn't.

Love my new Adjustable Weight Bench!

Oh my gosh, I just got the Adjustable Weight Bench and it's fantastic! It's super comfy and feels really solid. I was worried it might be flimsy but it's not at all. It adjusts so easily, which is great for switching between exercises. Delivery was quicker than I thought, took about 6 days. I'm so happy with this purchase. I'm already planning my next order, maybe some dumbbells to go with it. Seriously, if you need a bench, get this one!

can you use other brand attachments with major fitness racks? like if i have a rogue j-cup set already, will it fit?

C Chris Foster 2 months ago

Depends on the hole size and spacing, which isn't always universal. Some attachments might fit, others won't. I'd measure your Rogue stuff and then check the Major Fitness specs.

I've seen people use attachments from different brands, but it's a crapshoot. Best to stick with their own or make sure the dimensions match exactly.

Thinking of getting the all-in-one home gym, but I live in New York City. How long does shipping usually take to the East Coast?

R Rachel 1 month ago

Mine took about 10 days to get to Florida, so NYC should be similar probably. They use freight for the big stuff.

3

D Dana 1 month ago

Yeah, heavy stuff usually ships slower. I'd add a few extra days onto whatever they estimate for peace of mind, especially with current logistics.

Is Major Fitness equipment any good? I'm debating between their power rack and a Force USA one, the price difference is pretty big.

B Ben Hughes 2 months ago

Major Fitness is totally legit, just rebranded from Major Lutie. Quality is solid for the price point, especially compared to some of the super high-end stuff.

I have their power rack and it's been great. Not quite Rogue level maybe, but for home use, it's perfect and saves you a ton of cash.

What's the deal with returns if I buy a heavy squat rack and it doesn't work out? Sounds like a nightmare to send back.

D Dana Silva 2 months ago

It's a bit of a process with heavy stuff, not like returning a t-shirt. You gotta keep the original packaging and usually arrange freight yourself. Check their policy, they spell it out.

3

R Rosa Z. 2 months ago

Yeah, returns were easy enough for a small accessory, but for a whole rack? I'd double-check measurements and make sure you really want it first.

Are there any active discount codes right now? Looking to buy a smith machine combo and hoping to save a bit.

S Sophie 1 month ago

Check their newsletter signup, sometimes they have a first-order discount. Also, Black Friday is coming up, might be worth waiting if you can.

I got $100 off my bench a few months ago with a bundle deal. Usually, you can find a code for larger purchases.

Do their power racks come with barbells or plates, or is it just the rack itself?

M Megan Beaumont 2 months ago

Nah, just the rack. Weights and barbells are usually separate purchases unless it's a specific 'combo' deal, but those are usually noted in the description.

M Megan L. 2 months ago

Most of the time, gym equipment is sold à la carte. You gotta buy plates and bars separately, like any other brand.
